HomeGrown™: Your Address Stays Private Until a Sale Is Agreed
When you list fruit, vegetables, herbs, seedlings or cut flowers on HomeGrown, buyers see your general area, not your exact address. Nobody can find out where you live just by browsing what’s for sale nearby.
Your exact pickup location is only shared once a buyer has requested an item and you’ve accepted the order. Until then, the details stay between HomeGrown and you.
The same principle applies to what HomeGrown takes from a sale. There’s no listing fee and nothing charged for simply having produce on the platform. A commission is only taken when a trade actually happens — list ten things and sell nothing, and nothing is owed.
Every exchange is arranged directly between buyer and seller, for local pickup or a short local delivery. Nothing is shipped, and there’s no courier or warehouse involved at any point.
It’s a straightforward way to make sure your garden surplus goes to someone nearby who actually wants it, without handing over more information than the trade requires.
