InternetZoo™: Keep More of Every Fish Sale

Buying or selling tropical fish and aquatic plants shouldn’t mean watching fees eat into the value of every shipment. That’s the thinking behind InternetZoo™, a marketplace that works a bit like Airbnb or Uber for the ornamental fish and plant trade: it connects buyers and sellers directly rather than acting as a traditional wholesaler.

The fees are simple and visible up front. InternetZoo charges 4% commission on trade and retail transactions, and 6% on private (C2C) sales. No hidden bundling, and no chain of intermediaries each taking a slice before the fish reaches the tank.

For farmers and exporters, that means keeping more of what your stock is actually worth. For petshops, wholesalers and serious aquarists, it means paying a fair price for the species you want, from the people who bred or grew them.

Transparent fees won’t make raising healthy fish any easier, but they can change how much of the reward stays with the people doing the work.

Curious? Browse the marketplace at internetzoo.org, or join as a seller and see how the numbers look for your farm.
